Dion Archaeological Park is an open air park in northern Greece. Mt. Olympus can be seen from everywhere within the park. Alexander the Great once roamed here. Today, it is partially covered in water, which invites frogs, weasels, dragonflies, birds, turtles and a host of other living things to wander in and around the ruins. The site was the home of sanctuaries to Demeter, Zeus, Isis, and Asklepios.
